Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense reported 32 Chinese military aircraft sorties, seven naval vessels and two official ships around Taiwan in its November 1 bulletin. The reporting window ran from 06:00 on October 31 to 06:00 on November 1, 2026, Taiwan time. According to the ministry, 26 sorties crossed the Taiwan Strait median line and entered northern, central, southwestern and eastern areas. Taiwan said it monitored and responded with mission aircraft, ships and shore-based missile systems. This completed daily window is separate from the overnight report on coast guard patrols and should not be combined with earlier detection totals. The aircraft number describes sorties, not necessarily 32 individually identified aircraft. Naval vessels and official ships are separate categories in the ministry’s account.
